Anne Schuh, Best Buddies president and senior, works on homework during SRT. She said she is most excited for the upcoming Pacers game that the club will be attending.
The Best Buddies club plans to attend a Pacers basketball game together as a club, which is an annual event that the club partakes, as a part of a “Best Buddies Night.”
Club sponsor Dana James said that this is game is part of Best Buddies tradition every year and that the club will take a bus and attend the game together.
James said, “I just always enjoy (events) because I enjoy seeing (Best Buddies members) outside of school and doing fun things.”
Anne Schuh, Best Buddies president and senior , said February’s Best Buddies events are more athletic events, since the club will be attending the Pacers game as well as a Carmel Basketball home game against Warren Central High School, where the Warren Central and CHS Best Buddies chapters will play each other on the basketball court during half-time.
Schuh said, “I’m excited for the basketball games because I think it’s good that we get out in the community and I think it’s really fun for our friends to be able to do that.”
