Swing Dance Club optimistic for new semester

The Swing Dance Club looks forward to a great semester after hosting a successful public dance in late November, although there is no set date on the public dance in the spring.

“Nothing has really been going on since school ended. The majority of the members seem to be improving and moving on to more complicated things,” junior member Rhiannon Miller said.

She said the club hasn’t done much since the dance in November, although a trip to Fountain Square was originally planned sometime over winter break.

“We had to cancel our fountain square trip for New Year’s due to a lack of interest,” Miller said.

The public dance for the spring will most likely be sometime in March or April, according to club sponsor Angelicka Becker.

Miller said, “We’re just looking forward to a good semester.” By Blaine Herbst <[email protected]>
