Global Giving, a club dedicated to fundraising money for underprivileged children in third world countries, is continuing to raise money for the rest of the school year, according to Arjuna Capulong, co-president and junior.

Sponsor Ryan Ringenberg said the club is holding a book drive.

“We are decorating boxes for students to drop new or gently used books into,” Ringenberg said. “They will then be sold and the money will be donated to the library we helped fund in China.”

Capulong said the group will hold periodic bake sales throughout the rest of the year and will have a booth at Houndstock to raise money and awareness. The members will also participate in the Chinese New Year Celebration here on Feb. 27.  By Darlene Pham <[email protected]>
