Humans of CHS 21-22

My favorite superhero is Ghost Rider, by far, because he just looks so cool and he’s also been my favorite superhero as a kid, and as a teenager now. First off, it’s the character design, and I like how he rides in a bicycle, sometimes, a Hellcat Charger, and he’s just a really cool character. His backstory is really cool because he starts out losing a lot.

I like the old Batman, the original TV series Batman, because he was comical, it was old, and it was also funny because of the old setting and the CGI wasn’t very good, so it made it more funny because you could definitely tell it wasn’t real, and the family was more funny and I like the manor. He has good skills, and he didn’t have any powers which made him cooler, and the plots were very interesting.

My favorite superhero is Black Panther, as he kind of reminds me of the Lion King but more modernized, as he was one of the main black superheros that were in the Avengers, and it is a turning point nowadays as Marvel characters were not African. I think the main thing is that he’s so calm and not as energetic so he’s more chill about things.

My favorite superhero is Black Widow. I’ve loved her since I was a little kid, I think she stands for a really cool message of female empowerment and I love that she carries her own really well. I really resonate with her relationship with her sister, as I have an older sister that I’m very close with so it’s cool to see that relationship.

My favorite superhero is probably Black Widow since she’s a strong female character and I think in this day and age it’s really cool to see strong female characters documented in television. She’s just strong, she’s able to hold her own and that’s super cool. “One time I was shopping at World Market, and they had this ‘Find a golden sleigh, and you can get a free coupon for World Market,’ and my dad said ‘let’s leave, we’re never going to find this golden sleigh thing,’ and finally, when we were right about to leave we found the golden sleigh, and we took it up to the cashier, and it was 50 dollars of just free stuff."

“A couple years ago I went on vacation to Hilton Head Island, and they have a little bike area that a lot of people go to ride their bikes around. Me and my family went there for two straight days, and both days we found one hundred dollar bills that we picked up since no one was around.”

“One time, my cousin, he was playing at a soccer game, and there was a storm, and a lightning bolt struck, which was a few feet from where he was standing, but he was fine. It was pretty crazy, but he was completely okay so it was really lucky.”

The best gift is, well, the worst gift was socks, I don’t want socks. The best gift, I don’t know, (is) a dog.

The best gift I’ve gotten, it’d probably have to be a guitar when I was like six, (it’s) best thing I’ve ever gotten, (and) it’s treated me well. The worst gift I’ve ever gotten was probably underwear on my birthday. It’s very thoughtful, but like, you know.

The best gift I’ve ever gotten is a wii. I think just because it was fancy and I used it a lot it was really fun to play with. I am not sure what the worst gift I’ve gotten is. My worst gift was a shirt that was way too large and like went down to my knees. The best gift I’ve gotten was a laptop.

My best Halloween tradition is trading candy with my friends after trick or treating. I’ve been doing this since I was about 7 years old and my friends and I have never missed a year.

(My favorite house to trick or treat at when I was a kid) was a house that the adult always dressed up in a costume and the entire entryway was all decorated with lights, cobwebs and spooky music.
