The Swing Dance Club has set the date for the public Spring Dance for April 16th with details still in the planning process.

Club sponsor Mrs. Angelicka Becker said, “There will be an open dance lesson for anyone who is interested the Monday before ‘Jazz on the Roof” so people can practice and then dance at the event.”

Junior member Rhiannon Miller said the club is always open to new members, for people who’d like more experience before the dance. Becker said the location for the club’s practices has been changed to the main cafeteria.

For those who would like to go more public dances, there is also a dance every second and fourth Saturday of every month.

“Many members also go regularly to the “Fountain Square” Swing Dance every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month,” Becker said.

Aside from all the announcements, Becker and Miller said the clubs members have been doing well.
