The varsity football team plays on their home field on Sept. 30 for the annual Homecoming game. Head coach John Hebert said he has been preparing by focusing on the importance of bringing positive energy to the team.
“In order to prevent us from getting off to a bad start we have been trying to emphasize coming ready to go with our energy level and our focus,” Hebert said.
Additionally, player and senior Kyle Fedorcha said the team works well together and he is confident in his team for the game.
“Our whole entire defense has been working well together,” Fedorcha said.
“We all have each other’s back and we come together and create that bond and hold each other accountable,” he said.
Quarterback and senior Jack Kazmierczak said he has taken on the challenge of leading the team this year.
“I stepped into a bigger role this year and it has been my goal to stay calm, cool, and collected because the guys are counting on me,” Kazmierczak said.
“They have done a good job helping me with that,” he added.
