The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club will host a game night on Nov 4. According to club sponsor Jennifer Drudge, HOSA members can bring their friends. There will be a $5 entrance fee, and the game night will go from 4:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the Main Cafeteria.
HOSA member and sophomore Swayam Patankar said, “I’m going to the game night and I’m looking forward to it because it’s going to be a good team-building event before the HOSA competition season starts.”
Drudge said the game night will be important because it will raise money for HOSA and create connections between members.
“We haven’t done a lot of social activities in the past. And as our club has grown to nearly 150 students, we want to give students an opportunity to get to know one another.”
Another goal of the game night is to attract new members.
Drudge said, “HOSA members are encouraged to bring their friends who are not in HOSA. That might even grow the club’s interest even more.”
