The Comedy Sportz team will continue its season with a match at Roncalli High School scheduled for April 13.
Jacob Smith, team member and junior, said that Roncalli will be just as much of a difficult match up as any other match.
To prepare, Smith said the team has continued to hold practices afterschool in room P127. Smith said they also routinely visit the workshops held by the national Comedy Sportz organization in downtown Indianapolis.
“We’ve still really been concentrating on working with each other to get to the point where we can effortlessly pick up where the other left off during the matches,” Smith said. “And of course we’ve been working on perfecting our skills for each game, but since it is largely based on improvisation, being a strong team is most important. Which of course, we all work really well together.”
Sponsor and theater teacher, Jim Peterson said that tickets are still on sale for $5 in the bookstore. By Priya Patel <[email protected]>
