In the words of PTO president Cathy Huber the PTO is “wrapping up the year” with a few events. The last PTO meeting of the school year is scheduled for May 4 and is a volunteer breakfast.

Huber said, “We invite all of the people that have volunteered (for the PTO) and of course the administrators, and then we have a short PTO meeting after the breakfast.

Another event coming up is Gradfest which is scheduled for May 31 from 9 at night to 1 in the morning.

Huber said, “We give out a lot of doorprizes (at Gradfest), so we’re collecting volunteers and also the prizes.”

Also this will be Huber’s last year as PTO president, since the presidency cycles through each year. Huber said, “It’s been fun being PTO president, as its winding down. By Nick Andrews <[email protected]>
