At 11:30a.m on Sept. 4, the Ambassadors will perform for administrators from around the state. The performance of a series of five songs will last for 20 minutes, said director Lamonte Kuskye. The show will take place at the east side Marriot Convention Center. “It’s a conference, so we’re the entertainment,” Kuskye said.
During the show, the Ambassadors will perform a variety of pieces, including an upbeat dance to ‘Turn the Beat Around,” classical songs, a jazz piece and a ballad. In addition to these numbers, the Ambassadors will perform the “Star Spangled Banner.”
Ambassador and senior Evan Cain said he is excited for the event.
“Yeah, I think it’ll be fun,” Cain said. “I’m a little nervous because we’ve only had about four weeks of rehearsal to learn five or six songs, which is a little nerve wracking, but I’ll think we’ll do a good job.”
