Comments from Head coach Frank Dixon:

“The only coach who is happy at the end of the season is the coach that takes home the state title but while I am not happy with last night’s result I am certainly proud of my teams response to adversity.  After loosing our leading scorer, Brooke Backes, early in the first half to multiple fractures of the leg, the girls continued to play well.  However, even the coaches had a difficult time concentrating on the game.  Serious injuries to anyone but particularly a player takes all of the fun out of a game for both the team and coaching staff.  I am certain that if we had won last night’s contest there would not have been a celebration.  Congratulations and good luck to HSE.  They played well and beat the #2 and #3 ranked teams in Indiana to win the sectional title.”
