Navigating the CHS Hallways

There are some hallways and stairwells at CHS that are more crowded than others. Make sure that you take a look at the areas that are the most congested and avoid those areas to the best of your ability, so that you are on time to your class. There are maps of the school located in the Freshmen Center Counseling and Student Services.

Most Congested
– Foreign (A Rooms) Language (hallway that converges with B Rooms)
– Senior Hallway (especially in front of the entrance to Freshmen Center)
– Science (B Rooms) Department Hallway
– English (E Rooms) Department Hallway (especially at the end of the day)
– First Floor Freshmen Center Entrance to Cafeteria (especially at the end of the day)

Least Congested
– Stairways to all floors of the Freshmen Center are quite easy to navigate, because there are three stairwells; however, there is going to be students and faculty walking up and down constantly.
– Freshmen Center hallways
– Math (A Rooms) Department Hallways (watch out for the traffic that develops on the second floor though)
