Aperture Club has a tentative meeting scheduled for Oct. 17, according to Conner Gordon, Aperture Club president and senior. He said new members are still welcome to join and do not need to own a camera to be a part of the club.
At the next meeting, Gordon said he would, “take a look at what members like to do and get into the critiquing system.” He said he wants to get more member participation this year and he said he hopes to do so by looking at what the members like to do and want to gain from the experience.
According to Gordon, the club is beneficial for photographers because it is a chance for them to get their work seen by other photographers and get exposure. He said he would like to continue the monthly contests the club had last year.
Aperture Club sponsor Jim Streisel said, “I try to let the students run the show because I know students listen to other students.”
