The Share the Music Club will have its weekly Music on Main Street performance on Oct. 22 in downtown Carmel.
According to co-president and senior Shaina Pan, the Share the Music Club will continue to have its Music on Main Street performances every Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bub’s or Muldoon’s.
“We don’t have any major events coming up, but we are hoping to find an additional location for performances because we’ve had a lot more demand for performances this year because of our increased number of members,” Pan said.
Music on Main Street will most likely end after October due to the weather conditions, but it is expected to carry on once winter passes.
“(Cancellations due to winter weather conditions are) why we’re thinking about having an additional performance date, probably around that time, to make up for that,” Pan said.
The officers and sponsor James Woomert plan to play at future events.
“I’d like to be in the ensemble with the students and get an opportunity to make music with them,” Woomert said. “I’m really encouraged by the amount of interest there is by the students.”
Woomert said it’s still not too late to join.
“The club really is open to anybody and everybody,” Woomert said.
