The Share the Music Club will have its holiday party on Dec. 2 after school in Room E153, its Santa’s Breakfast event at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on Dec. 3 at 8:30 a.m., its first Clare Bridge performance on Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. and its Summer Trace performance on Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
According to co-president and senior Shaina Pan, there will be many activities at the holiday mixer.
“We are having a T-shirt design contest, gingerbread house contest, music and lots of food,” Pan said.
Groups from the club are going to play holiday music at the annual Breakfast with Santa event.
“Basically, they’re going to provide entertainment for the brunch,” Pan said.
Clare Bridge, a senior residential facility, will replace Music on Main Street. “(The performances) will be holiday-themed, like caroling and small holiday music ensembles,” Pan said.
Sponsor James Woomert said that he wants to be more involved with the club.
“My involvement really to this point has been sort of minimal, just given the fact that there are not regular meetings, and everything seems to be done online,” Woomert said. “So, as far as things that I’m doing with them currently is fairly limited, but I’m hoping to increase that once we get into the more location-based events.”
There are currently no upcoming meetings, and Summer Trace performances will continue on as usual.
