Economics Club members will prepare for their upcoming competition in April at their meeting on Feb. 17
Edward Zhang, Economics Club member and freshman, said, “We are still taking practice tastes that cover advanced concepts founding macro and micro (that are) economic courses.”
According to the club sponsor Michelle Foutz, club members will discuss competition information about Regional and National competition dates at the meeting. The April competition is vital for team members, Foutz said, because if they does not win the first competition, they are out for the entire competition season.
Zhang said, “Last Friday, during SRT, we had an oral jeopardy practice competition, which was in a similar format to the final round of the National competition. This shows that we are ready to compete at the National level. Our team is getting excited.”
