Film Club members will meet in Room E150 to watch “The Hangover” on May 3. The movie will run from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. The movie is unrated, so students who wish to attend the meeting must turn in a permission slip. According to sponsor Robyn Huss, they may pick up permission slips in Room E150.
“The Hangover” is a comedy that revolves around three groomsmen who lose track of their about-to-be-married friend while on a drunken adventure. The movie is centered in Las Vegas.
According to Huss, her only regret about Film Club is its small size.
“At next year’s call-out meeting, maybe, [Film Club members] need to not only talk about the movies but have a survey of what kinds of things members expect from the club or activities they want,” Huss said.
After every movie, there is a trivia quiz with ten questions. According to member and junior Alexis Albrecht, members have to pay close attention to do well on the quizzes.
“The questions are based on actors and detailed parts of the movie,” Albrecht said.
“I don’t have the prizes yet, so I can’t guarantee what they’re going to be, but last year what I did was I gave movie passes to the first, second and third place finishers,” Huss said.
