The Junior Class will assist the other classes in preparing for Homecoming, which will be held Sept. 21. Class officers will help with tasks such as playhouse building and decorating halls.
Class adviser Jennifer Rhodes works with officers of all the classes in organizing school events.
“I like working with the classes,” Rhodes said.
Junior Class president Jimmy Hayden works on projects more oriented towards the Junior Class. He and Layne Garrison, Junior Class vice president, are working to recruit people to help build the Junior Class playhouse. In addition, they will go to businesses to get corporate sponsors for Homecoming.
“We’ll get a lot more people (than last year) to come out and (we will) win the competition. That’s the goal,” Hayden said.
