TechHOUNDS will have its next pre-season meeting Oct. 25. Club sponsor George Giltner and team leader Akash Shankar will run the meeting. “We teach the new members how to use equipment and prepare them for the building season,” Giltner said.
The team is not in its building season, so it meets every Thursday after school. “My job is to check divisions, make sure everyone knows what they are doing, and to make sure we are accomplishing our goals,” Shankar said. The new members are learning how to use the equipment by building robots not used in competition.
The team is also having a TechHOUNDS late night on Nov. 16. According to Shankar, TechHOUNDS members will be getting together to do fun activities, get to know each other, and to bond as a team.
