According to Key Club sponsor Katie Gray, Key Club members can earn group hours by donating items to Care to Share beneficiaries assigned by House members. All items must be delivered to the Key Club office before or on Dec. 3.
“Members can get one and a half hours per item donated. They can donate anything, but beware to buy something that fits their age, since the two (beneficiaries) this year are really young, one being 4 years old and the other around 4 months old. Members can check out their wish lists at the Key Club office,” Gray said.
Melody Gao, Key Club president and senior, said students should decorate their items before donating them. “Items should be wrapped up like Christmas presents. Also, remember to put your name on the present so we can give you the hours,” Gao said.
The next Key Club meeting will be on Dec. 13 in the freshman cafeteria. Students are welcome to attend either the morning session at 7:15 or the afternoon session at 3:15.
