CHS Brain Game is scheduled to have its next meet against Lebanon High School on Feb. 6. Members will continue to practice after school on Mondays in the media center.
“Readers should expect that we’ll go far in this competition or at least expect us to be prepared for next year’s,” Danny Goldberg, Brain Game member and freshman, said.
The team is currently undefeated.
Sponsor and coach John Shearin is thankful for the team’s progress and asked for support from others.
Shearin said, “We do see tremendous support here at Carmel High School for the athletic teams, for the performing arts teams and for other endeavors. We don’t always see that same kind of support for the academic endeavors, but we do hope that we’ll move to that direction.”
