All for a Cure club is planning on passing around donation buckets at the Feb. 2 home basketball game versus Zionsville. The game will be played at the Eric Clark Activity Center and starts at 7:30 p.m.
In the meantime, every month, All for a Cure prepare for Relay for Life. According to senior Sabrena Nayar, this event is held in June. “The Relay for Life event is a 24-hour event that starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m the next day,” she said.
The club members are also planning on wearing Relay for Life t-shirts soon to spread the word around to the school and the community. According to senior Samreen Uzzama, “This is a one-day stand against cancer in which we commemorate the survivors, the fighters and the family members who have been affected by cancer.”
The club wants as many people as possible to sign up and join a team to raise money for Relay for Life.
“If you are interested to go try to get a team of about 15 people,” Nayar said.
