According to Key Club sponsor Katie Gray, Key Club will meet on Feb. 14 before school at 7:15 and after school at 3:15 in the freshman cafeteria. Members can sign up to volunteer at the several elementary school carnivals during March.
“Schools like College Wood, Cherry Tree, Woodbrook and Mohawk Trails will have carnivals in March, on Friday and Saturday nights. We need hundreds of volunteers to set up game stations, run them and clean up after the carnival,” Gray said.
If members are not available to attend the positions they signed up for, they should inform one of the Key Club officers ahead of time. “It is the best if they can find replacements,” Xing “Melody” Gao, Key Club president and senior, said.
Key Club is a non-profit, high school student-based volunteering organization. Admission into the club is currently closed. All students are welcome to join next school year.
