The Young Life Pacers Night is open to everyone who signs up online via the Carmel Young Life website. The fee of $10 will pay for a bus ride to Bankers Life Fieldhouse and tickets to the Pacers vs. Celtics game, which is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, a typical Young Life Club meeting will take place. According to Young Life leader John Balmat, the Club meeting will follow the same procedure as those previous.
“The Club will have raffle prizes, games, singing and a Young Life Leader to speak about what Young Life is up to in Indianapolis,” Balmat said.
Part of Young Life’s upcoming activities include the summer camps, Saranac Village and Michindoh, as well as work crew, such as the one Shana Porter, senior and Young Life member, attended the previous summer.
“This summer I worked on work crew at a Young Life Camp in Michigan,” Porter said. “I was in Michigan for about a month.”
Porter said she is planning to attend another work crew camp this summer. In order to attend camp, all prospective campers must fill out a camp form available on the Carmel Young Life website.
