According to Art Club co-sponsor Jen Bubp, Art Department will host an event in the Arts Garden for the special education students on April 28 during SRT. Students will plant flowers and do a collaborative mural with a nature theme.
In addition, 14 students plan to attend the Paris trip this summer. Art Club president and senior Alex Mikev is one of those students.
He said, “It will be really cool because we’ll be able to finally see the works that we’ve been studying. It’ll be a really unique experience that you can’t get in Indiana. It’ll go beyond your normal education, where you just read about it, and you’ll actually experience what you’re learning about, which I think is what education should be about.”
