According to Tyler Baumann, CHTV member and senior, students are working on their own independent film projects, as well as featuring more shows on the channel.
“CHTV really teaches you how to work with people to create a tangible product.” Baumann said. “We submitted a video to the Indiana Association of Broadcasting, and we really want to win.”
CHTV sponsor Anna Kaiser said for this semester the group plans to take small steps to work on expanding the program. By broadcasting more segments, Kaiser said it is important to appeal to the audience and relay information.
“For this semester y goal is to get more shows programmed on the station. We want to take baby steps,” Kaiser said. “We want to air our shows every SRT. Then we want to air throughout the day, and we hope to air especially in the evening. Right now, we are using myself and the assistant directors in the intermediate classes to work on this. We hope to start playing games right after they are played, as well.”
