According to CHTV sponsor Anna Kaiser, CHTV students hope to make their broadcast more interesting with a variety of segments and more student incorporation.
“We are trying to revamp some of the announcements by adding mini-segments and more videos, and that is from packages, to short, fun interviews,” Kaiser said. “Students are getting to revamp each segment to try different things.”
Mary Caltrider, CHTV member and junior, reports entertainment news for the morning announcements and is planning to feature more student faces within her broadcasts.
“We are trying to incorporate more packages and highlight reels,” Caltrider said. “With more involvement in announcements, we want people to see their friends and get students’ opinions.”
