Elizabeth Baach, president and junior, empties out a recycling bin. “I joined this club as a sophomore and fell in love with the idea that I could make an impact in our community,” Baach said.
According to club sponsor Kara House, Environmental Action Club will continue to meet every other Monday. In coming meetings, club members will continue to plan new projects and continue collecting milk cartons.
According to Elizabeth Baach, president and junior, club members are actively searching for activities to participate in to improve the environment. “The milk project is going pretty well. The best part is that we are interacting with students at school through it and making them aware of small things they can do to improve the environment,” Baach said.
“It is a specific recycling project. If it is successful, we want to continue doing such projects.” House said.
