Carmel Key Club plans to have its meeting on Oct. 19. This will be one of their normally scheduled meetings, which occur on late start Wednesdays.
During their last meeting, the Key Club class officer elections were held.
“The officer elections from (our) last meeting were pretty successful, with the exception of freshmen, as nobody applied,” David Jiang, Key Club co-vice president and sophomore said. “We are planning to give them another shot at a leadership role and nudge them forward to put themselves there.”
According to co-sponsor Allyson Ward, since the holidays are coming up, they will be doing a lot of service projects.
“We are planning big service projects for Thanksgiving and the winter holidays. We are also planning to help with the Ghost and Goblins 5K race.” Ward said.
“This week we are coming back with another service project for everybody to participate in,” Jiang said.
