According to Stephanie Wu, UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) Club president and senior, officers and members of the club are not scheduled to participate in any events for December. The next meeting for the club is scheduled to take place on Dec. 6.
Wu said, “We’re going to go over what we did at International Festival and how much we made at the meeting next week. We’re going to have food for the members and celebrate as a thank you to the club members.”
Club sponsor Jill Noel said that nothing would be planned for the month of December, but at the meeting and through winter break the club officers would discuss possible events.
“As of right now, (members of UNICEF Club) are not going to do any events anytime soon,” Noel said. “This is because the semester is almost over, and the officers want to allow members to take a break and study for finals.”
Wu said that most of the events would be discussed at later meetings.
“We aren’t really sure what we’re going to do right now,” Wu said. “We usually do bake sales to fundraise more money in the later half of the year.”
