Chemistry Club will have its next meeting on Dec. 12 or the first Monday proceeding winter break, according to club sponsor Virginia Kundrat, to start studying harder for the American Chemical Society (ACS) chemistry exams in March.
Club members study during the club meetings with questions, according to Ray Qian, club co-leader and senior. They also prepare in their own time. In addition, some members will meet with a professor from Eli Lilly to help educate them for the test.
“Some of (the members) put in an incredible effort,” Kundrat said.
The club will also soon begin preparation for a second demonstration sometime later in the year.
“The (demonstration) at Carmel Elementary was very well received. So I think they want to do more of those,” Kundrat said.
