Swing Dance Club will host another dance on April 20, according to president and junior Angela Cosgrove. The theme has not been decided, but Cosgrove said it will probably be related to cartoons or Disney. Members of the club are invited to go, but anyone in the school may attend the dance.

Also, Swing Club members will continue to participate in a dance and social time every fourth Friday of each month at Fountain Square at 1105 Prospect Street, Indianapolis IN 46203 from 8 to 11:30 p.m.

Swing instructor Carolyn Wiley said she is very excited to go dancing on Friday.

“Who all is ready to come out and dance on Friday?” Wiley said. “Because I’m ready to have some fun.”

According to Cosgrove, a new teacher from Butler University will teach the Swing Dance Club.

“His name is John Tigert. He’s a professional and dances with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He’s also the organizer of the annual Swing Indy,” Cosgrove said. “I’m so excited for the new things that will come with his arrival.”
