According to UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) club president Silvia Lee, club members are scheduled to attend Houndstock on May 19, where they will set up a booth to fundraise for the club.
“Members will sell bubble tea and baked goods that club members and officers purchase or bring in. We will be making our own bubble tea, and the price per cup will be around two or three dollars,” Lee said. “If any members wish to sign up for the event, they can just contact one of the officers, and we will give you the information.”
Sponsor Jill Noel said the club will host a party for members at the end of the year in May, in which they will celebrate the year’s achievements and encourage members to return next year.
“It’s going to be something that the officers plan themselves, Noel said. “More information will be given at the next club meeting, which is yet to be scheduled.”
