CHS’ Brain Game team will move one to the next round in its competition after its win against Guerin Catholic with a final score of CHS 21, Guerin Catholic 19.
“I’m certainly happier that they won than if they had lost, ” coach and sponsor John Shearin said.
According to Shearin, the game was a close match. He said neither team had a large lead throughout the duration of the game, but towards the end CHS’ team obtained a lead and won.
“Now that we have the ability to advance further and practice more, we can continue. Now we feel that we can beat (anyone),” Danny Goldberg, Brain Game competitor and freshman, said.
Goldberg said CHS’ Brain Game team will most likely win its next match, since the team members can prepare more for it.
