According to science department chairperson Jennifer Marlow, CHS student volunteers will judge the Smoky Row Elementary science fair on Feb. 20 at 6 p.m.
Marlow said she asked for volunteers from AP science courses and science clubs. One of these volunteers was Alex Yom, Club Med member and freshman.
Yom said via email, “I really look forward to seeing the work of the elementary school students. I remember being in elementary school, not too long ago, and I’m just really excited to see what they have come up with. I also never judged a science fair before, so I look forward to see how that goes. It’s not every day that you get to judge the work of students who will eventually take our place in high school and beyond.”
