Share The Music Club is scheduled perform at Summer Trace Nursing home on April 6. According to Sunhee Han, club president and senior, club members will provide a free concert for the elderly. Additionally, the club intends to perform at the Stratford Nursing Home on April 13, according to Han.
“The purpose of the club is to share music with people in the community,” Han said. “So we will be playing for seniors in these nursing homes.”
According to faculty sponsor James Woomert, Share The Music Club members perform at local nursing homes on a regular basis. Members sign up for specific time slots on the club’s website and perform with their friends.
“We get out and perform for the community,” Woomert said. “We try to bring all these people together to meet and have an opportunity to perform.”
