Share The Music Club is scheduled perform at Stratford Nursing home on April 25. According to Sunhee Han, club president and senior, club members will provide a free concert for the elderly. Additionally, the club will be accepting officer applications and hosting officer interviews within the coming weeks, according to Han.
“Share the Music is all about giving back to the community through music,” Han said. “So we will be playing for seniors in these nursing homes.”
According to faculty sponsor James Woomert, Share The Music Club members perform at local nursing homes on a regular basis. Members sign up for specific time slots on the club’s website and perform with their friends.
“They just show up and play whatever they want,” Woomert said. “It’s not really an instructional kind of thing, it’s a gathering of people who play instruments.”
