Global Giving is not sure whether it is going to have its last meeting to wrap up the year, according to sponsor Ryan Ringenberg.
Co-president and junior Jessica Chiang said, “We all have AP testing, so I’m not sure if we’re going to have (a last meeting). We might just make an announcement on our Facebook page. At this point, I think that every single member is really busy, so I don’t want the club to be like a chore that interferes with their schedule.”
Ringenberg said if there is a last meeting, the members would just discuss what they have accomplished this year and what they would like to improve on. They would also talk about fundraising ideas for next year.
“It would be a great way to wrap up the year and tie some loose ends because we have maybe only met once this semester, so unfortunately since our election, we haven’t really had a meeting. I think it would be good to solidify the new leadership and make sure everyone’s onboard,” said Ringenberg.
Next year, Chiang said she hopes to be more involved with the club because there haven’t been many meetings second semester.
Chiang said, “As for next year, I definitely want to get more involved in the school activities, and also I really do want to team up with a lot of other clubs, especially since I do know a lot of the presidents of the club.”
