Anime Club plans to have its next meeting on Nov. 18 in the Large Group Instruction (LGI) room after school.
According to club sponsor Rita Winters, Yanying Chen, Club president and senior, handles all activities relating to the club.
Chen said, “We don’t have any special events coming up. Members will just come to watch anime, draw and eat good food.”
However, Chen also said she will be looking for ideas for potential club events.
Chen said, “Last year we did mostly, like, parties. Maybe this year we’ll do something else, but we mostly just want people to hang out and have fun.”
According to Chen, the club is always open to new members. The only requirement is they enjoy participating in activities related to anime.
She said, “We welcome new members all year now. You just come, sit down and watch anime.”
