Ping Pong club will host its next meeting on Nov. 21 at the bottom of the stairs next to the Freshman Cafeteria. New members will be able to register at any prospective meetings and current members will be able to pick up their club shirts at either this meeting or the following meeting.
A $5 club fee is required upon registration but no additional costs will be charged for any meetings in the 2013-2014 school year. Registration is open to all grade and skill levels in the high school and involves no attendance policies.
Club member and junior Samantha Cunningham joined Ping Pong club this year and said she has enjoyed attending these meetings.
“It’s a good way to meet people because they just get so into the game and have a lot of fun,” Cunningham said.
Co-sponsor and French teacher Leslie McCarty said, “It’s a fun way to join a club, meet new people and have fun playing ping pong.”
In addition, the club has made several improvements this year, which are quickly attracting new members like Cunningham.
“The fact that they started having food and drinks was a very strong reason why I joined,” Cunningham said. Once a member, ping pong games, pizza and beverages can all be expected at the club’s regular Thursday meetings.
McCarty said, “We pretty much just play after school and have a good time. That’s all there is to it.”

Are the club t-shirt still on sale? If so, how much are they and where do I order them?
