Speech team plans to meet tomorrow in Room E149 to review what happened at the last meet and continue to practice and revise scripts for the next competition, according to club sponsor Jacleen Joiner.
“Right now, we are working on students seeing what they did wrong in the last meet, and how they can become better,” Joiner said.
Club members continue to improve their skills, including sophomore Kate Hawkins.
“Just the feeling of being a part of something that I personally enjoy makes me happy,” Hawkins said.
Hawkins said that speech team is a great way to spend her time and learn something along the way.
“Even when we are not doing anything special, just seeing my fellow club member is something I enjoy,” Hawkins said.
Joiner agrees. She said, “Speech team allows the student to find who they really are and what they enjoy.”
