Grace Miller, vice president and junior, works on her homework during SRT. Miller said that next meeting the club plans to announce the treasurer and brainstorm ways to fundraise.
According to Grace Miller, vice president and junior, Living Hope Club will have its first meeting of this semester on Jan. 22. Due to a snow day, club members were not able to meet so far this semester.
“I have to talk to the officers and see if we can try and reschedule, but at this point, it does not really matter,” said Miller.
This semester, sponsor Diana LaRose said club members plan on finding more ways to fundraise. There are also some officer positions that the club still wants to fill.
Miller said, “I was thinking (the club) could partner with different restaurants and see if they could have a day where they could just set aside some of the profits. We basically pass out flyers and say that this percent of the profit goes to this foundation.”
