Spanish Club’s next meeting has been moved to April 28. “We had to reschedule from April 21, so now it is on April 28 and we will be going to Mexico City Grill. We’ve never been there before, so that will be fun,” Anna Boucher, Spanish Club co-president and senior, said.
Elizabeth Sprague, Spanish Club co-sponsor and teacher, said, “Mexico City Grill has cool decorations, like the last restaurant we went to, so just like the decor is fun to look at while you eat, and of course, I’m looking forward to the food.”
Boucher said she also is excited to try the food at Mexico City Grill. “I am most looking forward to ordering something new and trying to change it up every time. And we always order queso when we go to a restaurant, so that’s a pretty big highlight.” Boucher said.
Boucher also said Spanish Club has plans to go to the the Indiana Museum of Art. Boucher said, “after (the field trip to Mexico City Grill), we will end with a favorite. We will be going to the IMA on May 16 and they tour around all the Latin-American artists and other paintings. That was probably our biggest success last year, so we thought we would end the year with that.”
“If people curious about joining, they should try it out next year,” Boucher said. “We’re already planning events for next year and there’s already recurring field trips that are favorites. It’s just a really fun way to be exposed to culture, have fun, and eat good food.”
