On Oct. 14, there will be a schedule change due to the PSAT testing. Sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT, the freshmen will take the PLAN, and seniors will be taking ASVAB. Testing will be in the morning from 7:50 to 11:03 a.m. and have shortened 1st, 2nd and 4th periods. During the testing period, there will be no bells.
According to Assistant Principal Samuel Ruff, all students will either be studying or testing that day. ASVAB, the test for the seniors, is a career exploration program where seniors will explore future options.
“[ASVAB] is a test that will provide seniors with important feedback connecting interest to careers”, Ruff said.
The test offered to the freshmen, the PLAN, is a pre-ACT test. While not mandatory, freshmen are recommended to take it. By Sally Bae <[email protected]>
