Members of Pinnacle staff are working on a spread to honor Diwali, the Indian festival of lights. In the midst of the work on the Diwali spread, members are also woring toward individual spread deadlines as well as various marketing initiatives.
According to Pinnacle adviser, Claire Burke, the staff tries to balance marketing aspects with actual content creation.
She said, “(Staff members) will begin their quarterly media team assignment soon in order to market content, bookselling, and create content for the website.”
Burke said the staff is primarily marketing senior advertisement submissions, among other things. She added that the advertisements would be due by Dec. 6.
Avika Rajmane, Pinnacle staff member and sophomore, said she looks forward to more work on spreads. Although she isn’t assigned to the Diwali spread, Rajamane said she finds it is fun to work on event spreads.
She said, “I really love Pinnacle, not just because of the community, but because it is so fun to do all this graphic design work and photography for various events and spreads.
Lina Liu, Pinnacle Editor in Chief and senior, shared this sentiment.
Liu said, “The yearbook is going to be great, because I know all the staff members are putting a lot of effort into it.”
