The Jewish Student Union (JSU) will meet on Feb. 15 in main cafeteria at 3:15 p.m. According to Brett Gerstein, club president and sophomore, Guy, a special guest will help join the club once again.
During the meeting, the JSU will plan for a party celebrating the Jewish holiday of Purim. Club sponsor Shelly Rubinstein said the JSU celebrates many Jewish holidays throughout the year.
According to Gerstein, JSU will coordinate the party with JSUs all over the city. The club decided on the theme and venue for the celebration, but no date. However, Gerstein said the event will take place towards the end of the March. She said any club member may volunteer for the event. “They can either show up (at the meeting) or talk to Guy if they are interested. Any person can show up and contribute,” Gerstein said.
