The Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation (CCPR) is planning Doggy Egg Hunt for April 16 at West Park. Along with this event, students can participate in the Teen Pottery Workshop planned to take place on April 14. According to Lindsay Labas, marketing manager for the CCPR, students are more than welcome to volunteer and help out within the community.
“We’re always looking for volunteers,” Labas said.
At the moment the CCPR is looking for volunteers willing to help out with some of the upcoming events and activities. According to Labas, many of the activities require volunteers and organizational help.
“We (the CCPR) are currently looking for a volunteer coordinator to revamp the program and offer more volunteer opportunities,” she said.
Along with looking for a new coordinator, Labas said the CCPR is a way for volunteers and participants to make a difference in the community and get involved.
“We’re hoping the teen demographic will be more eager and willing to help out at events within their community,” she said. By Audrey Bailey <[email protected]>
