Carmel Education Foundation (CEF) scholarship applications will be available on Feb. 1, 2012. Students can go here for more information.
The CEF awards over 60 scholarships to seniors planning on attending a college, university or trade school. The applications will be available from Feb. 1 to March 15.
“The CEF reviews the scholarship applications during March and April, and announces the scholarship recipients at Scholarship Night at CHS (mid-May),” Dorothy Ilgen, director of the CEF, said.
Students will not have to apply for specific scholarship information. Information that the student supplies in the application form will be used to qualify them for a range of scholarships.
“Getting a scholarship would really help take a load off because I wouldn’t have to find other ways to earn money for college,” senior Allissa “Alli” Kizer said.
