The aquatic center will host its next “Family Fun Night” on Dec. 17. With the growing success and popularity over the past few months, aquatics center director Kinsey Wallace said she has high expectations for the upcoming event
“More parents are coming in the water and playing with their kids, which is what I wanted to happen: bring the community and families closer together,” Wallace said. “The kids love the toys and the diving boards and three whole families, a mom, dad and kids got in the water and played games. It makes me excited for the next one.”
Sophomore and diver Laura Rokop said she is also looking forward to the next “Family Fun Night.”
“Considering the last event was the same night as the ‘Tangled’ movie night, 35 attendees is pretty good,” Rokop said.
