All choirs will perform in the Holiday Spectacular (Holiday Spec), a winter choral concert, from Dec. 5 to 8 in the Dale E. Graham Auditorium. Each showing will begin at 7:30 p.m., and on Dec. 8, there will be an additional showing at 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices range from $8 to $18, depending on seat location: for a seat in the balcony, $8; lecture, $12; sides, $15; and middle, $18.
Tickets will be available online at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 at TickeTracker. Students may also purchase tickets at the CHS bookstore starting from Nov. 5.
Lamonte Kuskye, choral director of Ambassadors, said Holiday Spec attracts a wide audience of all ages.
“It’s amazing when we ask the freshmen how many of them have come before, the hands that go up. A ton of people come, a lot from junior high, and a lot of students bring their families too,” he said.
According to Surina Gangwani, member of Ambassadors and senior, Holiday Spec is a huge part of being in choir.
“(Holiday Spec) is incredible. Mr. Kuskye always does something interesting with it every year,” she said. “We had a kid fly last year, and this year there are rumors that we are going to do something we have never done before with the department. He always surprises the audience.”
